Bolton Community Education Foundation include:
- The Bolton
Community Education Foundation and Bolton High School celebrated
the opening of the Bolton High School Student Commons with a
performance by the Whiffenpoofs of Yale, the oldest a
cappella group in the United States,
on November 10, 2011.
- "Demystifying the Burka"
a
discussion
centered on the photographic exhibit, “Demystifying the Burka,” which consisted of images of young girls without head covering,
preteen and teen-aged girls with head covering, burka-clad women, and
chador-clad women, to learn about a society and a religion that are
often misunderstood in our country, in March 2011.
- "What's So Dan Funny?" comedy
show and auction featuring internationally known comedian Dan Nainan,
attended by more than 200 people, in February 2011.
- "The Lemon Tree" Book Discussion
in October 2010, cosponsored
with the Bolton Congregational Church.
- Community Conversation on "The
Greening of Bolton" in October 2010, involving more than 100
people, in which "green" practices for the town of Bolton were
examined.
"From the Great Wall to Town Hall," a
year-long series of program in 2009 and 2010 connecting Bolton, one of
Connecticut's smallest towns, and China, which has the largest
population in the world. Read more.
- "Wednesdays in March," a series
of free programs on Wednesday nights in March on various topics of
interest. See photos from our

2009, and
2010 programs.
- An interfaith forum in
October 2008, co-sponsored with the Bolton Congregational Church and
open to people of all faiths.
- Co-sponsorship with the Bolton
Land Trust of a "Walk and Talk" at the Rose Farm by
Dr. Robert Thorson, an expert on stone walls in Connecticut, June

- Sponsor of Bolton Family
Day in 2005, and both sponsor and coordinator in 2006 and 2007.
